Before this, the company was known as JHI Training Centre and was formed on 23rd April 1999. Since its formation, the company has provided training and quality programmes for various companies in the region. The company also provides quality initiatives consultancy services for a wide spectrum of companies covering different scope of industrial activities in manufacturing, electronics and services.
Looking into the demand of companies who strive for excellence to realize vision 2020, we have never looked back to ensure that the needs can be catered for. The formation of JHI Resources Sdn. Bhd. was a match between responsibility and awareness of building the national industry founded by its principal consultants.
The company is currently operating in Johor Bahru with a branch in Kuala Lumpur. We believe in providing quality programs thus ensuring that the stated objectives can be met to guarantee customers a total satisfaction. The need of our customers is the outmost priority. We would try our very best in making any project successful everywhere, anywhere and at any time.
Last but not least, our company has full cooperation from the Human Resource Development Fund and other agencies such as the Federation Of Malaysian Manufacturers, Malaysian Society Of Training and Development, Malaysia Productivity Corporation, Universities etc in running its activities. “On the Job Instructional Workshop”, & “Quality Control Circle” at Antara Steel Mills Sdn. Bhd. and Productivity Specialist in the area of “Process Improvement and Performance Excellent” by MPC. He is also successfully completing course/ workshop in “WIN Programmed by the PSB Institute for Productivity Training”, “Measuring the ROI in the training” at Mandarin Hotel Singapore (1997), “Competitive advantages through training needs analysis and viable annual training plans” advice by Majlis Pembangunan Sumber Manusia (Johor), “Failure mode & effect analysis (FMEA) and “Kursus asas pengurusan latihan” at Hotel Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur (1997).
As a trainer, he has helped various quality based teams to accomplish projects. Among the kind of teams formed are areas involving Innovative & Creative Circles, Benchmarking, Quality Environment Management System (5S) with Cert No.: ACP-2011.2, Suggestion Scheme, OJT, ISO 9001:2008, TPM and customer analysis. He is frequently invited as panel of jury for ICC conventions serving the government and private sectors for the past 12 years.
Currently, he is also involved with Johor Skills Development Centre (PUSPATRI) under the Industrial Skills Enhancement Program (INSEP). A lot of graduates were coached by him since 1999 and most of them are now working in the private and public sectors
Besides that, he is also involved in the research of TNA, Annual Training Plan, HRDF Management, Train the Trainer, OJT Instructional Workshop, Teambuilding series and Training Management. Apart from management training, he is also involved in some technical areas such as materials fabrication using composite technology
He is also currently an authorized license trainer of the Zenger Miller’s International Frontline Leadership Program encompassing Managerial, Supervisory Skills for Organizational Personnel and Emotional Spiritual Quotient
Since 1997, about 1000 ICC teams have been trained under him and this includes the 3 star gold awards at the national convention level. In 2000, one of the teams he trained has managed to accomplish the National QCC Hope Award. In 2011, one of the teams he trained also won the overall ICC National Convention organized by MPC. He is also an associate trainer with Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) and MARA. On the 22nd of July 2013, he was presented the award as productivity specialist by MPC.

Mr. Helmy Basri is a graduate from UKM and a master’s degree holder in TQM from UTM. He has been exposed to various training programs and visits related to quality initiatives. During his career, he has served excellently for local and multinational organizations.
Among his awards are achieved such as “Train the Trainer”, “Prepare, Deliver & Review Training”, Trainer in program “Total Quality Management”,
